Thursday, May 3, 2012 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Mililani Waena Elementary School Wednesday, May 9, 2012 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Mililani Ike Elementary School To register your child, please visit eayso.org. 1) Fill out application form for each child you wish to register 2) Print 3 copies of the form 3) Bring signed copies to one of the registrations listed above. 4) If new player to Mililani AYSO, please bring a copy of child's birth certificate for birthdate verification. 5) Cash or check payment of $65 made payable to Mililani AYSO. (There will be a $25 fee assessed for all returned checks.) If your child will be participating in the U5 program: 1) Practices and games will be held on Saturdays for one hour 2) An adult will need to assist the child on the field each day. This adult needs to fill out a volunteer application form. Please visit eayso.org and apply to be a volunteer. Print 2 copies and bring along with a valid government issued photo ID to registration. 3) Child will need shinguards, soccer shoes (no front toe cleat), size 3 soccer ball, water. All age groups will be playing their Fall 2012 Season from August thru November. Practice and game field locations to be determined at a later date. Mililani AYSO services approximately 1800 youth a year. We can't do it without your help. Volunteers like you give our youth the opportunity to make friends, learn about and play soccer, learn team building skills, exercise, practice good sportsmanship and have a whole lot of fun! If you would like to be team coach, assistant coach, team parent or referee please visit eayso.org and fill out a volunteer application. Print two copies and bring to one of our registrations along with a valid government issued photo ID. In case you're thinking, "I know nothing about soccer, I can't be a coach!" We offer specific training...and it will only cost you 2-3 hours of your time on a Saturday or Sunday. Our awesome instructor will give you the basics you need to know about the game and will also run you through some drills and skills that you can use during your practices and games. In a short 2-3 hours you will be ready and able to coach your child's team and be the "Best Coach in the World!" your child has ever had! If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with youth, want to make a difference in your child and other player's lives, and would like to have fun....please join us as a Mililani AYSO volunteer! We also need referees. Each U8 and up game needs two linesmen and one center referee. We will provide you the training and also give you a cool bright yellow shirt to use at the games. :0) Without the referee team, the game cannot be played. Many of our coaches end up refereeing the games before or after their game because they don't have help from the parents on their teams, Please do your part and become referee certified so that our coaches can focus on coaching and not spend half a day every weekend at the field. If every family gets one member referee certified, the coach can focus on coaching the team every week and each family can take one or two referee duties for the season...very little commitment but a HUGE help! Please consider doing your part to help make soccer fun for everyone! |

Checks can be made payable to Mililani AYSO in the amount of $65. After May 9, fees increase to $75 if space available. After uniforms are ordered, fees increase to $100. Shinguards available for sale at registration. Half the price of cost from Rogue Soccer. $5 - $20.

Regional Referee class will be tomorrow, Sunday, January 22 from 8am to 5pm at Kealohi park picnic tables (next to Rec Ctr IV).
Things to do prior: - Print two copies and sign your volunteer application forms. http://www.eayso.org

- Course R002 - Basic Referee Online Training (60-100 minute course)

Things to bring: - 2 copies of your signed volunteer application (if you did it already this year, doing so again will make sure that everything is taken care of)
- Bring your own drinks, chair and umbrella. AYSO will provide pizza for lunch

To All: In preparation for the Kirk Banks Tournament the following coach courses are being scheduled: U12 Coach--Diamond Head Region is sponsoring this course on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Kilauea Recreation Center on Kilauea Avenue in Kaimuki. No charge. Must be a currently registered AYSO volunteer to receive credit. Please register for Course #201200015 on eAYSO or at the door. Instructor: Earl Mente Intermediate Coach--Section 7 is sponsoring this course on March 2-4, 2012 at a place to be determined. $25.00 fee. Must be U-12 certified to attend and a currently registered AYSO volunteer to receive course credit. Please register for Course #201200016 on eAYSO. Instructor: Earl Mente Advanced Coach--Section 7 is sponsoring this course on March 16-18, 2012 at a place to be determined. $25.00 fee. Must be Intermediate certified to attend and a currently registered AYSO volunteer to receive course credit. Please register for Course #201200017 on eAYSO. Course Instructor: Mark Kane Gerry Solomon and Maurice Miranda are trying to organize Intermediate and Advanced Coach courses for the Big Island and more information will be sent out when the dates and times are determined. If any of the Oahu Regions have a classroom with an adjacent field available for either the Intermediate or the Advanced courses on the above dates please let me know. If there is a rental fee if will be paid by Section. If possible I would like to hold one of those two courses on the West Side and one on the Windward side to spread out the commuting time for the coaches. Hawaiian Islands InvitationalFebruary 23 and 25, 2012 Aloha Stadium
The Hawaiian Islands Invitational invites Hawaii's soccer community to join them at the Aloha Stadium this coming February as professional soccer teams: Busan I'Park, Colorado Rapids, Melbourne Heart FC, and Yokahama FC compete in a two day tournament.
Group discounts are being offered via Mililani AYSO. Seats are available in the Blue Section of the Stadium in sections F,G,H,N,P,Q,FF,GG,HH,NN,PP,QQ. Regular price for the seats are $20 for 2/23/12. $30 for 2/25/12 and $40 for two day package. If you order through Mililani AYSO by January 10, 2012, tickets are half price. However, you will not be able to pick your seats. We will have seats in the sections listed above. If you are interested, please contact your AGC to place your order and make payment via check to Mililani AYSO. You can buy as many seats as you need. ***Tickets subject to availability.
