10U-Girls

Your daughter will need the following:

  • Size 4 soccer ball
  • Shin guards
  • Soccer shoes – without the front toe cleat
  • Water jug

Practices will be held on a Monday through Friday, two days a week, depending on the coaches availability and field availability, between 4 – 6:30 p.m.

For example, your team may have practice every Tuesday & Thursday from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Practice will be held at Makaunulau Field (16 Acres) on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday or at Nakamura Field (YMCA) on Tuesday and Friday.

Practices are held twice a week for up to two hours.

There are two seasons for U10 Girls, the fall season with practices starting sometime in August and games running from September through November (usually 10 games per season) and a Winter/Spring Season with practices starting sometime in December and games running from January through March.  Expect the first call from a coach the month before games start.

Please plan to have an adult accompany your child to all practices and games. The Coach will not be responsible for “babysitting.” In the event your child needs to use the restroom, or isn’t feeling well, etc. someone needs to be there to attend to your child.

Games will be held on Saturdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m at Nakamura Field.

Goal Keeper Rules

The GK in 10U may not punt or drop kick the ball. If they collect the ball with their hands they may release it into play by rolling or throwing it..  They may also place the ball on the ground and kick it, or they may even dribble the ball out onto the field. They may not pick up the ball again after they have placed it on the ground.  Once a GK has released the ball from their hands they become a player just like any other field player and can dribble or kick the ball.
